Welcome to City Park

Come out and enjoy the beautiful Dunbar City Park! Bring the family or just yourself and enjoy a walk or quality recreational time utlizing our playground equipment at the park! 

 

City Park consists of 40 acres and features several picnicking areas. The City Park Shelter (see below) is the largest of the shelters and can be rented for your family functions and enjoyment. 

Rental Details

The City Park Shelter features, 2 charcoal grills, 10 tables, electric and ceiling fans.   Rental fee is $85.00 for the day between the hours of 9am - dark. (Seasonal)

The Recreational Building in City Park features a kitchen with a double sink, refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The building has a large room with seating up to 80 people. The men and women's restrooms are handicapped accessible. It is available for year round rental at $150.00 a day for Dunbar Residents and $175.00 for Non-Residents between the hours of 9am - 9pm.  Additionally, there is a required refundable deposit of $100.00. (Year round) as of 2/6/2023








Jerry Dove Shelter located on the site of the old Dunbar City pool has 14 picnic tables, counter tops with electrical outlets, 2 charcoal grills, fenced in playground, volleyball and basketball courts, portable fire pit, kitchen area with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. Rental fee is $175.00 (Seasonal)
